The company has attracted a diverse user base, with over 500,000 users generating millions of videos weekly. Notable investors include Lightspeed Venture Partners, Homebrew, Conviction Capital, SV Angel, and angel investors like Quora founder Adam D'Angelo, former GitHub CEO Nat Friedman, and Giphy co-founder Alex Chung. Pika Labs competes with other generative AI video tools such as Runway and Stability AI, positioning itself as a significant player in the AI-driven video creation market.
